SELECT AQUARIST SOCIETY OPEN SHOW AND AUCTION REPORT 2019

 

Our 3RD Show was held on Sunday 2ND June 2019 at Lodge Moor Community Centre, Minster Road, Scunthorpe - ideally located for ease of access from the Ml 80. The Show was well attended with entries from Aquatics plus, SVAS, STAMP, AAGB, Southend, Otley, Bradford, Scarborough and Ryedale - all of whom we would like to thank for their support.
We had prizes for our raffle donated by:-
"Maidenhead Aquatics, Brigg", "and M & L Aquatics", "My Pet", "Octopus 8", "World Foods and King British" - the prizes were amazing and we would like to express our thanks for your generosity and support




The Best in Show was a beautiful Alonocara Stevneni, shown by Ron Atherton of STAMPS. The prize was an external filter donated by "Eheim" and a £25 voucher donated by "Ferrybridge Aquatics", presented by our Chairman Jim Haworth.


The Best Exhibit was awarded for a stunning group of Double Sword Guppies, shown by Ian Wallbridge of Bradford. The prize was an external filter donated by "Rytis Pletkus, Ashby Aquatics" and a £25 voucher donated by "Ferrybridge Aquatics", presented by our Chairman Jim Haworth.

This was our third Show, we would like to thank all who attended, those who brought their fish to exhibit and/or auction Lots and all the people who helped on the day, resulting in an enjoyable day for all.
